BHAYSHUL TUTEN

Bhayshul Tuten was selected by Jacksonville in the fourth round of the 2025 NFL Draft after an outstanding collegiate career. He turned heads at the NFL Combine by running a 4.32-second 40-yard dash and posting a 40.5-inch vertical jump, both of which ranked first among running backs. As a rookie, Tuten rushed for 307 yards and scored seven total touchdowns, showing enough promise to earn Jacksonville’s starting running back role entering the 2026 season. Tuten spent two seasons at Virginia Tech, totaling 2,921 all-purpose yards and 31 touchdowns. In 2024, he set the program’s single-game rushing record with 266 yards, earning All-American honors and multiple All-ACC accolades. Prior to transferring to Virginia Tech, Tuten starred at North Carolina A&T, rushing for 1,363 yards and 13 touchdowns in 2022—one of the best rushing seasons in school history. His performance earned him FCS Third-Team All-America and First-Team All-Big South honors. A native of New Jersey, Tuten was a standout at Paulsboro High School, where he rushed for 3,768 yards and 77 touchdowns while earning numerous honors, including Jersey Times Offensive Player of the Year. His elite athleticism also translated to the track, where he posted one of the fastest 60-meter times in South Jersey history.
